PHYSICAL IDENTITY
Designing and fabricating metal business cards through laser engraveing
Software, systems, and digital experiences engineered for ideas that don't fit inside the box.
KAILUS LABS is an independent creative technology studio focused on turning ideas into useful, tangible systems.
We work across software, automation, artificial intelligence, digital experiences, and physical technology — combining engineering with experimentation to build things that wouldn't exist otherwise.
Don't start with the technology.
Start with the problem.
Then build the right thing.
Custom applications, APIs, data tools, and digital systems built to solve specific problems.
Intelligent systems using language models, machine learning, and computer vision to solve practical problems.
Systems that interpret images and video to detect objects, recognize patterns, and understand visual environments.
Physical prototyping through resin 3D printing, laser engraving, laser cutting, CAD modeling, and other digital manufacturing methods.
Designing tangible objects and identity systems that connect digital design with physical materials.
Transforming complex datasets into meaningful models, relationships, and interactive visualizations.
A collection of systems, prototypes, and ideas explored inside the lab. Some become products. Others become lessons.

A computer vision project that uses a custom-trained YOLOv8 model to detect and identify Yu-Gi-Oh cards in real-time. The model is trained on a dataset of Yu-Gi-Oh card images, allowing it to recognize and classify cards with high accuracy.
A fabrication experiment that explores the possible forms that mahjong tiles can take using non traditional materials.
An email agent that uses a local ollama model to provide email assistanace. The agent uses server tools to access the user's gmail inbox. The tools allow it to search, reach, organize, move, label, send and delete emails according to the user's instructions.
Resin 3D printing used in the prototyping and manufacturing of custom parts, mechanical parts, drone bodies, jewelery, and other small objects
A semantic map of a card database, using text embeddings to reveal relationships and clusters between cards in three-dimensional space.
We don't believe in limiting a project to a predefined stack. The right tool is the one that solves the problem.
Custom web applications, APIs, dashboards, tools, and digital systems built to solve specific problems.
Experimental AI systems that combine language models, agents, machine learning, and external tools to automate complex tasks.
Systems that interpret images and video to detect objects, recognize patterns, and extract information from visual environments.
Transforming large datasets into models, relationships, and visual representations that make complex information easier to explore.
Turning digital designs into physical objects through additive manufacturing, laser processes, CAD modeling, and rapid prototyping.
Designing and iterating on physical objects that explore the relationship between digital design, materials, manufacturing, and function.
From a single automation to an entire software platform, KAILUS LABS approaches every project as a system to understand, design, build, and refine.
Have a problem worth solving, a strange idea worth testing, or something that doesn't quite fit inside an existing box? Let's build it.
